How can I obtain an individual health insurance policy?
It’s simple; we ask that you complete a short application. Once completed, our office will then submit the application to the carriers that offer
individual plans in the state of Idaho. Once we receive the official offers from each carrier we will meet with you to explain each plan (the pros and cons) and help you choose a plan meets your needs and works well within your budget. What is the cost to have an agent?
None. The price to purchase a policy on your own or with an agent’s help is the same. If you purchase a policy online or directly with the carrier you will pay the same price as you would by using our office.
What is the purpose of having a broker?
An independent broker is not tied into any one company. We will shop for the plan that best meets your needs and budget. We will help answer any of your questions and be an advocate for you when working with the insurance carrier.
How can my company obtain a group health policy?
The process is similar as with the individual plans, each employee completes an application, along with other information we need from the company. All documentation is submitted to the insurance carriers who offer group health plans in Idaho. There is more flexibility as far as
plan design than with individual plans and usually there is a commitment from the company to pay a portion of the employee’s premium.
What if I have a problem with an insurance company or a provider?
Each individual circumstance is unique. We are always available to assist you to make sure you are receiving the correct information and that the insurance company pays claims as listed in the contract. We work with our clients to teach them how to efficiently use their policy in
order to receive the most benefits while keeping their health care costs to a minimum.
How will I know when it is time to move from individual or group coverage to Medicare?
We work with each client individually as they approach the time to qualify for Medicare. We assist our clients with enrolling for Medicare and help them choose a plan that meets their needs.
